DAS

The iDAS True Phase Coherent Intelligent Distributed Acoustic Sensor is an optoelectronic system that continuously records the true acoustic signal along the path of an optical fiber tens of kilometers long. the world's best distributed acoustic sensor iDAS has a new optoelectronic architecture that allows digital recording of acoustic fields anywhere along a single-mode or multi-mode optical fiber.

The iDAS intelligent distributed acoustic sensor uses Rayleigh backscatter phase to demodulate dynamic strain events along an optical fiber. iDAS can measure local axial strain changes with pinometer resolution (1 x 10-12) and has a wide signal detection bandwidth from milliehertz to > 50 kilohertz with the broadest dynamic range on the market.

Benefits:
- Most accurate sampling resolution of 25 cm
- Sampling rate 1 kHz - 100 kHz
- Up to 40 km range
- Easily deployable in remote and corrosive environments
- Best spatial resolution 1 m
- Frequency range from 0.01 Hz to 50 kHz
- Dynamic range = > 120 dB
- Compatible with standard single and multimode optical fibers
